The Stanley Parable Review

Hello there, I'm Accel and this is my review on The Stanley Parable. While its a weird place to talk about any review for this game because it would spoil the game, I will try to not to give any spoiler for the game. So just to be safe I would give a SPOILER WARNING!!!! early on just in case. This game has realeased worldwide on October 17 2013 for windows and December 19 2013 for OS X.

Game link:http://www.stanleyparable.com/
Steam link:http://store.steampowered.com/app/221910/ (Its on sale as for today)

Not bad for a game that started as a mode back in 2011 for the dated Half-Life 2, and the material added by creator Davey Wreden for this standalone release renders it all the more memorable. You are Stanley, an office drone condemned to an eternity of mashing buttons through prompts dictated by an unseen boss, and yet, the poor Stanley nevertheless claims to enjoy his job despite the simplicity of its experience.

That premise (and all of the game surrounding it) stands as a harsh critique of modern game design, specifically ridiculing our submission to the absence of real choice and our willingness to press buttons when developers tell us to do so. But one day the prompts stop, and Stanley ventures out into the cheaply carpeted environment beyond to find himself utterly alone.

When it comes to video games, I believe a strong narrative to be just as important as the gameplay and that both should complement each other to create an engaging experience. Currently, more games are focusing almost entirely on narrative and story structure, which is fine with me as long as the story is good. Despite my love for a good story, I’ve never truly thought about the philosophies of narratives, writers, the audience, and their complex relationships…until now. The Stanley Parable brings forth a story that not only manages to be thought-provoking and engaging, but also manages to be consistently hilarious in the process.

The Stanley Parable isn’t a game in the usual sense. Stanley walks using the keyboard and looks around with the mouse, and that’s about it.  There isn’t a jump button and there are very few objects to interact with using the mouse left click button; the game is focused entirely on the narrative(s). While it doesn’t really matter, Stanley’s movements are a little slippery, but this is a petty issue since it won’t impede on the game in any way.

So in the end ,The Stanley Parable is beyond description and cannot be pinned down by one single interpretation; it isn’t a game, it’s an experience. While it is an entertaining and often hilarious journey, the $15/£10/€11 price tag may be a little too much for 2-3 hours of artistic expression, so buyers who are looking for a conventional game should be very wary.

Once again, with inevitable Steam sales, like the current sales, The Stanley Parable is definitely worth a try.I would give this game a score of 9 out of 10.What about you guys, what do you guys think. Why don't you guys share your thoughts down below.

DmC: Devil May Cry

Hello there, I'm Accel and this is my reviews on the new Devil May Cry or also known as DmC. This is the 5th installment of this series and Dante has a new haircut. This game is developed by Ninja Theory and Published by Capcom. This game released worldwide on 15 January 2013 for the consoled version and
25 January 2013 on pc.

Game link: http://www.devilmaycry.com/
Steam link: http://store.steampowered.com/app/220440/ (its on sale as for today)

(sorry for the lack of photos, I can't find any that are not under copyright)

I’ve been a fan of the Devil May Cry series since the beginning, and I don’t care that Dante doesn’t have white hair, or that his origin story has been retooled for this entry. I don’t even care that he’s fighting the demon king Mundus again; altering and revisiting key elements are expected in any reboot. Regardless of how characters and events change, Ninja Theory stays faithful to the heart and soul of the series with this reimagining – and that’s what matters.

While these all may appear to be valid concerns for any fan cautious of someone messing with a much-loved franchise, I can tell you that DmC – Devil May Cry -- gives you all the ball-breaking, nut-busting, finger-snapping(I mean that if you trying to play it with a keyboard), eye-popping and ridiculously over-the-top action you could ask for. Better yet, Ninja Theory beautifully compliments it with spectacular motion-capture, a vibrant colour palate, insane old-school bosses, a smart-arse protagonist and some of the coolest level designs I’ve ever seen.

I’m impressed by the sheer variety of Dante’s moveset. Three guns, two angelic weapons, two demonic weapons, and one sword have unique abilities that you purchase. Also you can refund any spent points at no cost, encouraging you to experiment with the possibilities. Thankfully, you get the grappling powers for free, and they add mobility to the battlefield in ways that combine the concepts behind Nero’s Devil Bringer and Vergil’s teleportation from previous installments.

DMC has never been very big on story or characters. Players pick up this game to slice their way through the forces of hell in the most stylish and visually stunning way possible, and here, DmC succeeds with calm. This is the first game that Ninja Theory has produced where it can be said the mechanics are as compelling as the visuals they come packaged with. Like Dante, DmC isn't perfect and it's occasionally frustrating, but it's always appealing and it demands your attention. And damned if its not always look cool.

So I would give this game a 8 out of 10 . So what about you guys, what do you guys think. Why don't you share your thoughts in the comment section down below.

BioShock Infinite

Hello there, I'm Accel and this is my review on BioShock Infinite. This is the 3rd installment of the Bioshock series and though it is not immediately part of the storyline of previous BioShock games, it does features the same concept and theme as it predecessor.this games has been launched worldwide on March 26 year.

Game link:http://www.bioshockinfinite.com/?RET=&ag=true
Steam link:http://store.steampowered.com/app/8870/ (Its on sale as for today)

BioShock Infinite was a wonderful game created by Ken Levine, developed by Irrational games and published by 2K Games. It have everything a games should have;a definitive work of art, a rare example of ingenuity, innovation and complexity in mainstream gaming. It wasn’t just the Metacritic score of 94; it was the words of the critics themselves, a string of passionate and evocative declarations that here, finally, was the work for which the entire industry had been waiting. It was called a game of “artistry”; a “lavish” experience that “dignifies the medium” and “advances the art form”; the game that “video games were made for”; a “masterpiece” in every respect.

BioShock Infinite has you controlling Booker DeWitt, an ex Pinkerton agent, with a somewhat murky history and a debt to settle. To settle the debt, he has been given the task of finding a young lady in the city of Columbia and returning her to New York. Sounds simple enough. But the young Elizabeth, much like Rapunzel, has been held captive in the city for twelve years due to certain powers and abilities that those in the city believe tie her to the prosperity of Columbia.

The gameplay is insane and wildly incongruous, but it does allow for some entertaining configurations. If someone walks into one of my crow traps, I can then land on them to set the crows ablaze. If they try to hit me, my hat electrocutes them. And by then they’ve taken enough damage that my shirt will let me break their neck with one blow. This causes my shoes to heal me, as a reward for getting a melee kill.

The storyline is amazing.Like Half-Life 2, Infinite doesn’t feel like a game made by frustrated filmmakers (such as beyond two souls. It was crappiest game I ever played). It feels like a game made by people who know how to make films, and decided to make something else. The only problem I encounter was the weird keyboard controller and took some time to understand it (mainly it was my fault).

For the one who can played it ,I give all  my recommendation to play it .I would give this game a score of 9 out of 10. How about you guys, why don't you share your thoughts in the comment section down below.

Metro: Last Light Review

Hello there, I'm Accel and this is my reviews on Metro: Last Light. This game is a sequel game to the once hit Metro 2033. I played  Metro 2033 before but this one is surprisingly a good game. Metro is based on Dmitri Glukhovsky's series of books where its about trying to survive in the harsh environment on the post nuclear war. Metro 2033 caught this atmosphere in its tight corridors, and Last Light does the same, although with some addition of course.

Steam link: http://store.steampowered.com/app/43160/ (its on sale As for today)

First, it's important to understand how Last Light is structured. Like the first game, this is a linear shooter that often gives you room to explore. This can mean finding a hidden locker with precious bullets or a whole annex stuffed with nasty surprises. It is a game designed to be savoured rather than rushed through. This is at its most obvious in the settlements you periodically stumble across; almost every character, and there are always a lot, has plenty of dialogue.

The game manages to keep the tension high in a rather interesting way. During gunfights, you have two ways of gaining your health back. There are med kits, and then there is time. Like almost every FPS these days, Last Light has a regenerative health mechanic, but it's been pulled off differently. Whenever you're low on health, coming back to manageable levels of health takes some time, so you can't exactly depend on the regenerating health to keep you alive in a gun fight. This is where the med kits come in. You can use the med kits to quickly heal yourself up to full health. While the lack of a regenerating-health system would've been welcome, this feels like a pleasant compromise.

Metro: Last Light looks stunning. If you have the means to, you should definitely play this on a PC. Even on low settings, it was the most striking visual appearance I’ve ever seen(Of course after Crysis3). The developers sculpted a gorgeous painting out of the charred and broken buildings, bridges, and streets of post-fallout Moscow. The same is true for the labyrinthine tunnels and city states of the Metro system where gas lamps illuminate the dank walls and filthy homes of its tenants in gritty detail.

But as always, all games has a flaws. For instance, human enemies aren’t very smart. They’ll often run right past you in the shadows, even if they just spotted you only moments earlier during your attack. If they know you’re nearby, they’ll all perform the same animation loop of constantly popping in and out of cover, craning their necks to look for you. They appeared less like people and more like programmed robots.

All the great things combined, I would give this game a score of 8 out of 10.So what did you guys think, did you agree with me. Why don't you share your thoughts in the comment section down below.

Crysis 3 Review

Hello there, I'm Accel and this is my reviews on Crysis 3. This game has came out long ago but its still the best looking game that you can possibilly play on pc right now. While the console version is not bad looking but they can't match to the jaw-dropping visuals on the pc.

Game link: http://www.crysis.com/crysis-3

The Crysis series has always been the benchmark for pushing gaming PCs to their limits. Crysis 3 is no different. It is unsurprisingly gorgeous on PC, especially if you have a rig capable of showing off all the wonderful things that CryEngine 3 can do.But take all of the graphic away and you will find yourself a pretty nice game with a strong single-player campaign and a decent story.

What make Crysis 3 a enjoyable game to play is the array of weapon that you can choose to play with while wandering around in the Nanosuit. Every situation pushed me to experiment with many different weapons upgrades, ammunition, and suit abilities. Dying wasn't an impediment; it encouraged me to try a different combination to see if I got better results.

Unfortunately, Crysis 3 is not a game without a flaws. It was fairly easy to move from point A to point B early in the game but it gradually became harder and harder as the game moves on .The areas are so big and occasionally I get lost and I had to check the map over and over to see is that a path that I miss. Also the game is pretty short and I can finished the campaign in 8 hours or so-----and I tend to play it quite slowly.

Overall, Crysis 3 is a worthy successor to the series and provides a fairly satisfying end.Personally I would suggest you to play it although it isn't a game that you have to play but it worth the money. i would give this game a score of 7.5 out of 10

What about you guys. What do you guys think, share your thoughts in the comment section down below.

Need For Speed: Rivals reviews

Hello there, I'm Accel and this is my reviews on Need For Speed: Rivals. This is the latest installment for this series and the 20th anniversary of the need for speed. If you a die hard fan of nfs game you might had played it before but if you not played this before you might want to try this out.

Game link: http://www.needforspeed.com/rivals

If your'e have watched/read the Need For Speed: Rivals reviews before , there some give it a high score and some flagged its as a bad game. For me, I think this game is not bad yet it is not that good either. The need for speed had its ups and downs over the years, but in recent times it has really found its feet.Need for Speed Rivals was developed by the new (Need for Speed dedicated) studio Ghost Games, with support from racing powerhouse Criterion Studios - the brains behind Burnout Paradise - and boy does it show.

This is great news for gamers who are interested in a racer that takes itself less seriously than the more conservative Forza Motorsport and Gran Turismo series, for example, and as a result Rivals will appeal to motorheads and casual racers alike.

The freeform nature of racing is Rivals' greatest strength, but also its greatest weakness. Players wanting a more traditional driving experience won't find it in Rivals--even when playing offline. While the campaign offers structure, it can become repetitive when taken out of context of a dynamic online world. And as a Racer, you're going to be chased by a lot of Cops. In fact, just driving around the world always increases your "Heat" meter, guaranteeing that you'll be chased over time. You could do leisure drives around the world as a Cop, but your objectives typically don't veer into traditional racing territory.

I also did encounter some significant frame-rate and lag issues on occasion, possibly depending on who I was connected to as host, which made the game crawl at one stage for over a minute, which makes me wonder if the experience might be better on next-gen consoles.I would give this game 7 out of 10

So what did you guys think. What your thoughts on the new Need for Speed games.Let me know at the comment section below

Former EA executive joins Oculus Rift To Lead Publishing

Oculus Rift is undoubtedly one of the most exciting pieces of technology for 2014, and could have a serious impact on the way we play games in the future.

But convincing developers to get on board with any radical piece of technology is understandably difficult, and Oculus Rift announced last week that it has hired former EA vice president David De Martini to take the helm of its new publishing drive…

With his previous work at EA Partners, De Martini worked on the Crysis series and on Titanfall, among numerous other big titles.

According to the Oculus blog, “David will be leading Oculus’s publishing initiative, providing Oculus developers additional resources to help them achieve their vision. This means new opportunities for key developers for direct support from Oculus, and ultimately, more great content on the Oculus platform.”

“What I'm doing at Oculus, it's not particularly different from what I did for seven years at EA as part of the EA Partners program. I'm figuring out how to partner effectively with big developers, small developers, all the way down to the individual who just wants to make something great for the Rift,” DeMartini stated during an interview.

What do you think of having an EA exec at Oculus Rift? Are gamer concerns legitimate, or should we just give him a chance to prove himself at Oculus Rift?

Assassin,s Creed IV: Black Flag Reviews

Hello there, I'm Accel and this is my review about Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag or also known as AC4. As for me I don't like the assassin,s creed series so much but for this game its different.Black Flag is beautiful and has wonderfully vibrant world to explore, both at sea and by land.

Game link :http://assassinscreed.ubi.com/en-GB/home/index.aspx
Steam link :http://store.steampowered.com/app/242050/

From a graphical standpoint, Black Flag’s world is built to amaze regardless of which console generation you’re playing it on. The fact that it was developed for the current generation and ported to PS4 and Xbox One means we’re talking about marginal sweeteners, not a generational leap. The tropical foliage in jungle environs has a more dynamic lilt and sway. Watching a cutscene of Edward speaking to his quartermaster Adéwalé at the stern, the current-gen version assumes your eyes are focused on the conversing men and soft-focuses the background details such as water and passing land, while the PS4 version maintains distinct water surface detail and crisper wood textures on the boat. It’s noticeable, but feels more like the step up we’ve become accustomed to between existing console and PC games.

And while its story isn't all that much more interesting than anything in the last few entries in this series, Assassin's Creed IV has so much to do, and so much of it is genuinely entertaining, that you'll be far too busy to care about its periodic missteps. It helps that Assassin's Creed IV doesn't waste much time getting you into the thick of things--or, well, comparatively speaking, anyway. As this series is often wont to do, Black Flag takes a few hours to guide you through its many systems, side-ventures, and mechanics (sometimes tutoring you on things you've already done several times.) Much of this stuff you'll probably already recognize if you're a series regular, though the ways in which Black Flag molds its existing gameplay into a heretofore unfamiliar open world design is where it's at its best.

All of that great things combined, I would give this game 8 out of 10. How about you guys, share your thoughts in the comment section down below.

Ubisoft not afraid to delay Assassins Creed if it not good enough

It seems that change is always possible. The Assassin's Creed franchise's annual releases are a subject of much contention, but it seems that yearly releases for the series might not be a certainty after all!

The growing culture of yearly installments in some of gaming's biggest franchises has caused many gamers to worry that both the creativity and quality of a product may suffer when pushing for annual releases, but not so says man of the moment Laurent Detoc, Ubisoft's North American president...

Speaking in an interview with IGN, Detoc declared that if the game is only 70% complete, then it won't be released to the public regardless of the annual release date expectations.

“If we think we have ended up with a 70 percent Assassin’s Creed game, we’re not going to ship it. That damages the brand,” Detoc said.

Detoc says that the quality of the release is what they take into consideration most. It is this quality that brings fans back again to the series, and if a game gets releases repeatedly below par, it becomes a struggle to bring gamer back to the franchise.

“There’s a lot of people who can play your game,” Detoc said. “We have fans who come back to the franchise and we’re very thankful for them, because we think we’re giving them a good game to play, and they give back to us when they buy it. But there’s a lot more people out there who we can sell games to.”

So what did you guys think. Did quality over quantity is better than quantity over quality

Call of Duty: Ghost Review

Hello there, I'm Accel and this is my review about Call Of Duty :Ghost or known as COD :Ghost. This is the latest game of the Call of Duty series. For me, as the fan boy of this COD series since the Modern Warfare I think it just another call of duty games . Nothing new in it apart of that new "fish A.I" and the dog .That basically the new thing about the game

Game link: http://www.callofduty.com/ghosts
Steam link: http://store.steampowered.com/app/209160/

Call of Duty isn't a 'bad' game. I'd argue since the first Modern Warfare there hasn't been a 'bad' one released. But, as it always seems, it becomes popular to bash success and anyone who doesn't play Call of Duty generally seems to despise it. Take a look at Metacritic's user score for this and past entries, outrageously low. But the reason the series became so popular and really hit the stratosphere with the first Modern Warfare was because it is fundamentally a good game. Smooth 60fps speed, nice graphics, often emotional storytelling and a multiplayer that has pretty much become the main game itself now all help create the package, which consumers pick up in their millions every year.

There is nothing like that here. There are some cool moments, and it’s a reasonably enjoyable ride, but the pacing is totally out of whack. There’s no sense of escalation because the whole thing is on such a massive scale. I lost track of how many times I had to run through crumbling/exploding set pieces over the course of the 6-hour-long campaign, and it just became tiresome. It’s not particularly original, either. It takes from everything, including one of its predecessors.

So my final verdict of this games is 7 out of 10

Battlefield 4 Review

Hello there, i'm Accel and this the first gaming reviews that i will make and it is Battlefield 4. This is the latest game of the battlefield series and it is a great game. Some of you have played it and some of you don't .For the one who never played this you should buy this game right now .

game link : http://www.battlefield.com/battlefield-4

Battlefield 4 is actually a games that aims for unrivaled destruction. Fueled by Frostbite 3, Battlefield 4 allows you to demolish the buildings shielding your enemy. You will lead an assault from the back of a gun boat. Battlefield grants you the freedom to do more and be more while playing to your strengths and carving your own path to victory. Beyond its hallmark multiplayer, Battlefield 4 features an intense, dramatic character-driven campaign that starts with the evacuation of American VIPs from Shanghai and follows your squad's struggle to find its way home. Change the landscape in real-time with interactive environments that react to your every move. Dominate land, air and sea with all-new, intense water-based vehicular

But I have slight problems with this game. The first one is this games sometimes crashes when I'm in the multiplayer mode. The second one ,its really disapointing me that the games really don't look much different than the older battlefield 3

From my perspective , I would give this game 8 out of 10

Hello there, I'm accel and this is my blogs. I will do a lot of gaming reviews ,budget gaming build and stuff like that. Also this is my own personal blog and that basically it.All the thing that i write is my opinion and nothing more than my opinion so don't get angry at it
